Friday Focus – November 2, 2018

Hello everybody!

Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a smattering of what I’m reading, doing, listening to, watching or pondering.

A Developmental Psychologist I’m studyingDr. Patricia M. Crittenden is a systemic developmental psychologist who explores the Dynamic-Maturational Model of Attachment and Adaptation (DMM). It is an attachment based theory that extends over the life-span.

What I’m reading from the bookshelfSt.Francis of Assisi by G.K. Chesterton is by far my favorite biography of Francis. I took this off of the shelf on the Feast of Francis (Oct.4). This is probably my 7th or 8th time reading this magnificent spiritual biography. If you only have one opportunity to learn about St. Francis, pick up this delightful book.

A podcast I’m listening to – Another suggested podcast that I’m enjoying is Abiding Together. This is encouragement for people on the journey of Christian faith.

Quote I’m pondering – “I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I have been.” ~ Winnie The Pooh
