Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a smattering of what I’m reading, doing, listening to, watching or pondering.
A new gadget I’m experimenting with – ReMarkable -paper tablet. This paper tablet is a wonderful tool for my client case notes, for reading and reviewing documents. The more I use it, the more I like it. I am finding so many ways to keep myself organized. I prefer to write by hand rather than type. This is my answer.
What I’m watching – Science with Sue, Episode 2: Changing Channels during Conflicts is a great 6-minute video by Dr. Sue Johnson. She talks about holding onto one’s emotional balance so that it can help shift couples from being caught up in their own emotions to stop the blame game during conflict.

Quote I’m pondering – “In a time when everything was being swept away, when ‘the whole world is becoming a giant concentration camp,’ [Etty Hillesum] felt one must hold fast to what endures—the encounter with God at the depths of one’s own soul and in other people.” —Robert Ellsberg
BrainTap – A few of you have asked me to share the link to the BrainTap free trial again, so here it is: Click here. BrainTap Technology continues to really help me as I use it 2-3 times a day to retrain my brain. Subtle yet very noticeable changes continue to reveal themselves in a positive way. Many of my clients are finding good results with it as well. You don’t need the headset, earbuds will do. If you would like to try out the headset at our office, please give us a call and we can arrange a time for you to come in and try it (less than 30 minutes).
