Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a smattering of what I’m reading, doing, listening to, watching or pondering.
A Podcast I’m listening to – Visiting my son in North Carolina this past weekend, he asked me to listen to The Ground Up show and the episode with Dan Doty from Evryman.com. It’s a wonderful description of his organization that creates the space and gives the teaching to help men connect to other humans and themselves by the simple process of being vulnerable. My son and I could not stop talking about the positive and powerful impact this can have on men’s lives.
What I’m watching – The Backwards Bicycle Brain is a fascinating and fun testimony to how our brains work and the challenge it is to change our behavior, our thinking, our bodies. Take 8 minutes – be entertained and learn something really cool.

Quote I’m pondering – “Pay attention to the people God puts in your path if you want to discern what God is up to in your life.” ~ Henri Nouwen
BrainTap – A few of you have asked me to share the link to the BrainTap free trial again, so here it is: Click here. BrainTap Technology continues to really help me as I use it 2-3 times a day to retrain my brain. Subtle yet very noticeable changes continue to reveal themselves in a positive way. Many of my clients are finding good results with it as well.
Listen in – On Thursday nights from 8-9 PM (cst) I host the program, ‘Brokenhearted’ on Radio Maria.us. You can stream it live if you can’t get it over the airwaves. You can also go to Radio Maria and listen to previously recorded broadcasts of the program.
