Friday Focus – June 14, 2019

Hello everybody!

Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a smattering of what I’m reading, listening to, learning, watching or pondering.

What I’m watchingThe Moon and the Stars in the Night Sky. No Netflix special. No Amazon Prime Video. No Discovery or History Channel. I mean, I have been sitting outside at night in this beautiful cool weather (especially for June in South Louisiana) watching the Moon and the Stars. (There’s no link for that:-))))

What I’m practicing – Psychological state change is a powerful tool. For over 10 years now, I do this Priming Practice by Tony Robbins at least 4 -5 times a week. I would benefit from it even more if I did it daily. The video attached is a great demonstration.

What I’m listening toRising Appalachia released their recent album Leylines in May 2019. I was happily introduced to their music this week. A rich, soothing harmonic combination of southern folk, world and soulful music with great songwriting make their music refreshing. Learning that they have been around for a while, I wish I was introduced sooner, but I’m really glad I’m getting to know their music.

Quote I’m pondering – “The spiritual life can only be real when it is lived in the midst of the pains and joys of the here and now.” – Henri Nouwen

BrainTap – A few of you have asked me to share the link to the BrainTap free trial again, so here it is: Click here. BrainTap Technology continues to really help me as I use it 2-3 times a day to retrain my brain. Subtle yet very noticeable changes continue to reveal themselves in a positive way. Many of my clients are finding good results with it as well. You don’t need the headset, earbuds will do. If you would like to try out the headset at our office, please give us a call and we can arrange a time for you to come in and try it (less than 30 minutes).
