Friday Focus – February 09, 2018
Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a list of what I’m enjoying, learning or pondering.
Please share with me what you are reading, learning, pondering and watching. I may just share it with others in a future edition of Friday Focus.. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a tweet to @daniel_jurek and put #FridayFocus in there so I can find it.
What I’m reading –
The role of forgiveness and rebuilding trust: 8 Principles to remember. Randy Conley does a very good job synthesizing some very important principles to rebuild trust. So whether it’s an intimate relationship, friendship or fellow co-worker, these principles can help.
What I’m watching to – (going to be watching…)
Best Lent Ever is something I did last year for Lent and I am signed up to do again this year. Matthew Kelly does a great job of guiding us through the 40-day journey to become as he says, “the-best-version-of-yourself”. In your inbox will come daily a short video of Matthew speaking on a specific subject .
What I’m listening to –
The Deer’s Cry sung by Rita Connolly is a deeply inspiring song that can bring my spirit calm and stillness in a matter of minutes. This version of St. Patrick’s breastplate is wonderfully edifying.
Quote I’m pondering –
“Every thought, every emotion, is only a tourist. And I am not a hotel. Let them come and let them go.” Mooji (Thanks Roy Petitfils for sharing this one.)
And as always, please let me know your requests and suggestions on Twitter or email. Which focus point above is your favorite? What do you want more (or less) of? Let me know. Just send a tweet to @daniel_jurek and put #FridayFocus in there so I can find it, or you can email me at email@example.com (use “Friday Focus” in the subject line.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Peace and all good,
