Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a list of what I’m reading, listening to, watching or pondering.
What I’m reading – Two Old Women: An Alaska Legend of Betrayal, Courage and Survival. This is a wonderful short read based on an Athabaskan Indian Legend – the story of survival and courage. The ending will not disappoint you.
What I’m listening to – Spanish Guitar – volume 3 on YouTube is a wonderful mix of soothing Spanish guitar. It’s a mix that I listen to while reading, writing and chilling on the patio.
What I’m experimenting with – Pro ARGI-9 l-arginine formula is a therapeutic supplement that is supposed to rapidly and significantly increase nitric oxide levels in the body, providing support of healthy circulator and cardiovascular function. (of course, check with your medical doctor before trying it to be certain it’s appropriate for you.)
Quote I’m pondering – “Our ecumenical task, not matter our denomination, is not that of trying to win over converts or convince others that we are righter than they are. Our primary task is inner conversion within our own denomination. Our primary task is to try, as individuals and as churches, to be more faithful to the gospel.” Ron Rolheiser, OMI
