Friday Focus – April 12, 2019

Hello everybody!

Here is your weekly dose of Friday Focus, a smattering of what I’m reading, doing, listening to, watching or pondering.

A song inspiring me this weekThe Love of God sung by these dynamic gifted men is inspiring and oh, so reflective. David Phelps, Larnell Harris and Wes Hampton just nail it…. 3 tenors – wow.

What I’m watchingIt’s Friday, Sunday’s Coming is one of the iconic inspirational sermons of Dr. Tony Camplo. As we get closer to the Paschal Mystery of celebrating Christs Suffering, Death and Resurrection, spend a few minutes listening to this classic inspired preaching. If you only have time for the best of the best, start at 51:46 and enjoy.

What I’m listening to – A friend of mine suggested that I listen to the new album, Amidst the Chaos by Sara Bareilles. I am really enjoying it – it’s subtly powerful and requires some close listening to pick up the nuanced and deep messages and meanings. Much of the album is moody and reflective.

Technology I’m trying: update: It’s been more than a month now and my intrigue with BrainTap has become a testimonial of success. Using this technology 2-3 times a day is retraining my brain. I’ve experienced significant improvement with sleep. I can fall asleep fast, but once I wake, it has been difficult to fall back to sleep. BrainTap has changed that for the better. I’m sleeping soundly, more deeply and when I do wake, I am able to immediately fall asleep. The other area that I am finding success and breakthrough is a better psychology when it comes to nutrition. I have lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks when I have been stalled in weight loss for more than a year and a half. Click here for your 15 day trial and then add another 30-days for .99 cents. If you would like to purchase the headset, give us a call and you’ll get $100.00 of the retail price.

Quote I’m pondering – “You will never find time for anything. If you want the time, you must make it.” ~ Charles Buxton
